🎉 How to start game night

Get KinPlay on the TV. On your smart TV's web browser, go to this site and tap Start on the TV. No TV browser? Cast a Chrome tab from a computer, or plug a laptop into the TV with HDMI. A QR code and room code will appear.

You scan first — you're the host. Point your device's camera at the QR code on the TV (or type the room code), enter your name, pick your icon. Whoever joins first automatically becomes the host and Player 1 — no separate step.

Get everyone in. Everyone else scans the same QR code, enters their name, and taps Let's Play! Up to 8 people total. Phones, tablets, or computers all work — touchscreens are the most fun.

Host picks the game & starts. As the host, choose Number Guess or Trivia and hit Start Game on your device once everyone's in. The TV runs the show — everyone plays from their own device.
💡 Make it an app on your phone
On iPhone: open this page in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
On Android: open it in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu, then Add to Home screen.
KinPlay gets its own icon and opens full-screen — just like an app!
